"We are all a little weird, And life's a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, We join up with them and fall in Mutual Weirdness and call it Love." ~ Dr. Seuss
"Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future only He can see."
"Charity is having patience with someone who has let us down. It is resisting the impulse to become offended easily. It is accepting weaknesses and shortcomings. It is accepting people as they truly are. It is looking beyond physical appearances to attributes that will not dim through time. It is resisting the urge to categorize others." ~ President Thomas S. Monson
"You have to work to deserve to be the companion that you want the other person to be." ~ Bishop Chad Dabell
"Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans."
"Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections."
"I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn how to let go. Things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they are right. And sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
"You can't leave footprints in the sands of time if you're sitting on your butt. And who wants to leave buttprints in the sands of time?!"
"Sometimes on the way to a dream, you get lost and find a better one."
"Life is no straight and easy corridor along which we travel free and unhampered, but a maze of passages, through which we must seek our way, lost and confused, now and again checked in a blind alley. But, always, if we have faith, God will open a door for us. Not perhaps the one we ourselves would have ever thought of, but one that will ultimately prove good for us." ~A.J. Cronin
Alan and Heather met through a mutual friend and became friends in December 2011. It didn't take either of them long to realize how much the other meant to them and they were sealed on July 28th, 2012 in the Idaho Falls, ID LDS Temple. They have one daughter, affectionately referred to as the "Tiny Terrorist". Heather is a stay at home mom (best job EVER!) while Alan for Sermon Service & Electric. We love family, friends, travelling, movies, Harry Potter and food!
